Program Notes with Score Video

Movement for violin, viola, and double bass was written in 1988.  I had written a trio with this instrumentation in 1985, and I remember thinking that I would make another stab at it with a completely different approach.  The work, however, never progressed beyond this movement.  The work is formatted like an opening sonata movement to a traditional chamber music work.  At this time, I was trying out many different things, but I have not written too many pieces with such a traditional approach as this one..
